Now that you know where to look you'll notice them everytime. Just like when GS front rotors are installed on the wrong side of the hub, backward facing rotors, ya can't miss 'em!

Would be disappointing to damage the front guard of such a stunning Kat. If the front end takes a big hit and compresses the forks all the way the shark fins usually hit the guard when they are mounted facing inwards like the ones in this photo. Perhaps the previous owner was not aware that ex-factory the shark fins face outwards.

      Keep those great photos coming.

      Cheers.
here you are! You're absolutely right. the sharks have already been moved and this was an old picture. Also the old owner was the criminal....

Two of Suzi's machines that deserve to be in anyone's bike Hall of Fame! For me the GSX1100 also brings back fond memories as it was my ride until I bought a Katana 1100 in 1982. A black GSX 1100, my favorite colour!

          Thanks for the pics,

          Cheers.

Agree! I've been hunting my new GSX1100 purchased in 1980 for a year. He is in the hands of an old acquaintance of mine, but he doesn't want to sell him back to me until now.
Hope he will go over soon, because he is in 100% original condition as I sold him at the time in 1982.

Pray that he will come home soon!

Meanwhile did some work on the GS1000S.
Putting it back to original; signal lights, seat, trim, exhausts, etc.
Color of the wheels and original discs are next.
Have to wait for some warmer weather.
