    New Owner

Hi All. New to the world of GS ownership (though have a 2002 GSX1400). Just picked up a genuine barn find, a 1983 GS1100G, from a hangar by the sea, so there's the odd speck of, er, rust and corrosion that needs attention LOL. No idea when the bike last ran and it has no keys or papers but the engine is not locked up and the gears engage. Gonna be a longer term project I reckon, not least as I live in the middle of nowhere in rural France so parts and services etc won't be just around the corner! Looking forward to learning and sharing :-)

Cheers! It rolls in gear so the motor can't be locked but thats the best I can say! Re rust - I don't know whether to laugh or cry lol
