In the process of buying an '82 GS650G (16k miles)...current owner is scheduled to ride-n-fly it to me in a couple of weeks. Just a little bit of polishing, and it should look like-new again.

I noticed that...my best guess is that when the current owner got the bike and pulled the carbs to clean them, he buttoned everything back up before he realized the cable was mis-routed.
