I got 88 GSXR rims to go on the 7/11, and some 99 rims for the GS. Upside down forks for the GSXR, and the forks from the 7/11 will go on the GS!!

Why do you call the GSXR a 7/11?? I never heard that before. Rob, once you get to know him you'll understand his sense of humor if that's what you want to call it... He's a good guy.

My understanding of the term was a 750 with an 1100 mill stuffed in....

"Skunk" is a term of endearment around here for a '78 GS1000...richard.

It's an 85 750 chassis, with an 87 1100 motor, front end and brakes. Hence,,7/11.

When I first bought my bike in 1980, I was parts dept. mgr. at Suzuki City. (Chgo,) All of us were street racing fools.
It wasn't but a few weeks before the boss put 750 emblems on the side covers of my 1100.... I'm still laughing about those times!

I had a '88 GSXR750 chassis with a 1100 motor in it. Had to drop the motor to get the valve cover off!!!

Do you have to the same with your 7/11??

Made a few bucks with my "750" back in the day. It was a killer 1327cc GSXR1100 motor that we stuck in that '88 slingshot chassis.

Stuck that same motor into a 600 Kanatuna chassis made a killing with that bike until that motor bent the 600's steel frame!!!

                      I understand now... I want to build a 85/10 a 850G with a 1000G engine.
