Welcome aboard; Looks like a pretty good bike. Can you post some pictures of the mono shock conversion and any other bracing?
I'm afraid it might be a bit of a disappointment if you pull that 1100 and go bzck to an 8v motor.

Rather than attaching a photo, it works better if you load your pictures to an online hosting site. Many of us use Photobucket. I have my account preferences set to automatically resize any pictures I upload to a maximum of 800 pixels on the longer side.

Besides being easier to do (just upload), you retain your full-size, high-resolution pictures (no smaller duplicates) and it saves space on Photobucket's site, allowing you to have more pictures in your allotment of free space.

With that GSXR engine and all the update mods, you kinda belong in a GSXR forum.
However there have been more than a few threads here of just that kinda project.
            So welcome.

+1 I'd leave that beauty just the way it is. Could always find a nice stock one, then you'll have one of each.

Seems like someone did a good project there.

Seems like it would be worth lot more as is, and lot less if put a 750 back in it.
(or is there a problem with the 1100...)

                      Welcome to GSR.

                      You looking for a laugh....?
I looked at thread to get a better idea of what is a "street fighter" (you getting the idea, yet, that I am an older guy..?...),
so I look at the pic, and an I say, "hum, must be that street fighter means loud exhaust and rearset and low bars so sit forward on your ballz" ...
I am laughing at myself, so you can laugh at me too. (dont think that I am laughing at your bike, I am laughing at myself).

                      Thanks for posting.
                      Welcome.

                        I love my 82 GS1100G with it's 8 valve engine rated only 94 HP.
I've had a couple GSX750F Katanas, liked those too.
                        But I kept the GS1100G.
                        Not gonna explain why.

I love 8.valves engines. Besides power i not all, i could get alot of good laughts with an old 1000.
So u dont need too explain why..
