How many inches that swingarm extended?
I'd like to hear what it sounds like also.
You got one of them new-fangled tiny batteries, or it's just not installed when photo was snapped?Last edited by Rob S.; 06-03-2015, 10:10 AM.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

Welcome.....Whats the intended use for the bike? Drag race? Street? Both?
I see a bit of 85 es paint. Any plans for the body work yet?
Again, welcome and enjoy.
Add-looking closer at the pics it seems that the coil locations would prevent a stock gas tank install so im guessing a body kit?sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Well I'm trying to post a vid on YouTube of it running but I seem to be messing something up but I'll keep trying, I'm using a 1st gen gsxr swinger stretched 8", I intend on it being my weekend cruiser and maybe see a couple weekends at the local 1/8mi if I ever muster up the courage.
yea your right it's blue and white I've got the stock tank also but it's rusty inside and that's my next battle, I wanna stick to the OEM blue and white bc I just love the look of these things
oh and the coils are just resting on the frame, I haven't had time to fab up some brackets/spacers
hopefully I'll get this vid posted so you can hear it, def loud but man it sounds mean

Sounds very nice. Sounds...proper.
Nothing like the sound of a big in-line four through a four-into-one.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red
