Haven't been on the forum for several months, and had to renew my registration. I have an 81 GS 850G that I've restored with an original 5500 miles on it. Now it's up to about 8000. Previously owned a GS 450, GS750, GS650G, GS1100G, and last one prior to this 850, was an absolutely fantastic 83 GS 1100e (red with black motor and exhaust), which is now owned by my son in Mesa, AZ (it's been in my family for 30 years!). I currently own 2 of the new generation Triumphs, an 01 Sprint ST turbo, and a 98 Thunderbird Sport Café.
I recently installed 2 new Avon Roadrider tires on my GS, and have a pair of Shinko Tourmasters ( sizes 130/90/17, and 100/90/19) with 3K miles on them that are in excellent condition, and they are free to anyone who wants them in the Oklahoma city area. I received a lot of good advice from this forum in the past and look forward to being on it often. tommyturbo2
