Been checking out this awesum site for a while now and thought might be a good time to register and start getting my baby seen and recognized.
Things I have done so far.
Chopped up the rear frame, cut off the back of an old tank to fabricate a tail piece (which houses the battery), made a wooden seat unit which I'll have pieces of leather seat made in put on, inserted indicators into the rear frame, built in rear lights into the tail piece, added new head light, removed clocks and gauges, painted tank (I know it looks old and worn but that's what I was going for), installed pod filters, fabricated box for under the seat to house all electrical, installed Shark 1 into 4 exhaust (still temporary link pipe but works for now).
Still to do, fabricate bracket for smart phone to be used as a speedo, paint tail piece similar to tank, finish off wood seat unit, have leather seat strips/blocks made to go on wooden seat unit for additional padding, grind off all extra tabs and non used frame portions, remove center stand and clean off any tabs for that, strip bike and redo frame and engine, cut down front mudguard, paint rims to suit rising sun paint scheme.
Here is a pic of how she's looking currently. She is called Rawsum cause when I'm finished the bike will have a proper raw look about her (minimal paint) and in my opinion it'll look just awesum. And my boys love the name........
