    Greetings from the NW

Howdy, been lurking on here after being given this 82 1100E that's sat a long time and dealing with some misfire troubleshooting stuff. Ex road racer and long time dragbike racer, so looking forward to having a street bike again. Funny thing about free bikes-- they aren't real free...lol

A quick pic of the cleaned up old turd when it was waiting on brake lines.

    See ya around!

Thanks guys, just north of Vancouver WA.

Yeah, I've been picking away at this thing since about September. Threw a little black dip on the bodywork just to see the color and basically disassembled/cleaned everything. It hadn't run in about 8 years-- rotten tires, frozen carbs, leaky forks, frozen rear master cyl, etc. The motor was rebuilt by an old dragracer for my buddy and seems to be sealed ok (decent leakdown, valves adjusted) but working through some electrical issues and a persistent misfire.
