    Noob from the UK

Hi from the UK... I have a 81 GS1000 that was bought on a certain auction site that turned out not to be what was advertised. The frame is a GS1100 which was not avalible in the UK, GS1000s engine with GS1000e clocks panels and other sundry parts and a UK GSX gas tank. Anyway myself and a good mate have completely stripped down and rebuilt the whole bike and this picture was taken 3 years ago. I use the bike most of the time and a new BB engine is ready to go in. I have been lurking in the background for a while but thought it was time to stick my head up above the parapet and have some fun.

Welcome to you from the county of Essex! I got hitched on March 24, 1990 in Braintree...the lady and I celebrate 26 years next Thursday...but enough of me.

Nice 8V Liter bike! The seat almost resembles an "L" which is what my "T" came with on my purchase.

You've done a great job restoring her and I like the blue with unique Suzuki logo.

Enjoy your way around here and post more pics!

It's got a 79/80 GS1000 (thinner diameter) swingarm on it by the looks of it & the 78/79 carbs. What petcock does it use? I had to swap when I used that tank on mine for a few weeks.
