The frame was cut and a hoop was welded in. Custom seat was made and installed. I had memory foam put in it to make it comfortable, it definitely needed firm foam considering how thin the seat is compared to stock.
The mod list continued as follows:
- Chopped OEM exhaust
- Oval Pod Filters
- Stage 3 Dynojet Kit with needles second clip from bottom
- Drilled slide holes
- Stainless braided brake lines front and rear
- Custom indicator lights integrated into headlight bucket
- Custom push start button integrated into headlight bucket
- Yellow headlight
- Emgo Viper Fairing
- Emgo rear shocks
- New lower handlebars
- Killswitch Delete (key is the only switch now)
- CNC metal throttle tube
- Custom blinkers
- Custom side mounted brake light and license plate
- EBC brake pads front and rear
- Rebuilt all calipers
- New clutch and brake levers and master cylinder
- New oxblood grips
- Engine breather filter
- "Racing" Oil Restrictor Jet
- Tank and side panels painted Porsche "Carrarra Weiss Metallic" off of a Cayman GT4.
- Chopped OEM rear fender, holes filled and painted gloss black
- Chopped OEM front fender and painted gloss black
- New clutch cable
- New throttle cable
- New tachometer cable
- New speedometer cable
- Complete carb rebuild and cleaning
- All fluids flushed and changed with synthetic
That's about it for now. Rebuilding my front forks soon as they seem to be leaking. Going to install progressive springs as well.
Haven't seen many other bratted out 1100's out there.
