    I purchased this GS new in 1983, it has been a great bike that now has 14k miles. Only mods that I have made are the 4-1 Kerker and an engine oil cooler. For some reason Suzuki put oil coolers on the 750 and 550, but not the 1100.

          Beauty. That exact model is on my hit list to add to my stable of 83s. I'd prefer the stock exhaust over the 4 into 1, but it doesn't take anything away from it.

          How'd you stumble upon the GSR?
          '83 GS650G
          '83 GS550es (didn't like the colours in the 80's, but they've grown on me)
