Looking for a good shop maunal for my 85 GS450L

Hi, I have been shopping Ebay for a GS450L factory manual ... but getting more confused. Will buying an older 82 manual suffice for my 85 model Suzuki I just acquired? Will buying a GA manual for automatic transmissions be specific enuf to my manual transmission as well? Then I also see manuals for the T or S models.

Or are these old manuals available on computer downloads? Are supplements necessary?

I'm full of questions, but want to do it right the 1st time if possible. Thanks for any help here!

Thanks guys for the replies on this. I have a chance to get a 1982 Suzuki factory shop manual for $25 in fine shape on a loose leaf binder. It says it is for the GA model ... but it seems most info would also apply to my L model. Is the factory manual any more complete or easier to follow than the Clymer? The Clymer download is free and I could print it out .... but having the info presented in book form seem to be an advantage too.

I would spend the money and get the factory manual. Typically there is a base manual, and then each year thereafter Suzuki would publish a "supplement". I'm not sure what year the base manual was published but I suspect 1980. There are hardbound versions of the manual available, including the supplements. You just need to find a complete copy with supplements all the way to 1985.
