Hi all. I purchased a pretty clean 79 GS1000 last summer, and have been really happy with it. Not sure if it's a L or E model... I have big plans for it this spring/summer...it's getting a major overhaul and being turned into my own twist of a cafe racer. I just picked up a 91 GSXR 1100 donor bike for some of its goodies..
I'm quite surprised by the following on these bikes. I have been poking around the forums for a while now, getting ideas...so I figured I would join and share my project as I get started on it.
On that note....keep an eye out....I will be posting GS parts for sale as I swap out items. pretty much the only thing that is in bad shape on the bike is the seat upholstery.
