    I couldn't say no....

Well I own a GS again.
This time I couldn't say no to the price...

    1980 GS750L from what I can tell.
    Yup it runs too:

I'll be picking it up when I get back from my little loop.

I think I'm just going to run it as is!

Recent engine rebuild, new tires, new charging system... Guy needed to buy tires for his new FJR....

    I couldn't pass it up.!

I'll take a 16V over an 8V any day. Lock nut adjustment. More high end. My last 81 ran like a raped ape. I've had a couple 8V and it wasn't quite the same.

I think the 8V have more down low as the 16V love to race past redline.

I'll let you give it a rip in a few weeks!

            Nice job Jedz!

I've never owned an 8V but my 16V "T" was fantastic while I was in New Mexico.

I LOVED my GS750L... First motorcycle... So listening to this one idle and rev up pulled my heart strings HARD...

              Some more shots:

These things are seriously just all motor... Love it!

Pulled you heartstrings hard. Oh boy..... Welcome to GS nostalgia. It's the same reason I hope to own another 83 1100e someday.

As noted, yes it looks pretty complete and seems to run decent. Knowing you, it will be running great in no time. As far as running it as is, there is a certain joy of running a ratty looking bike. Heck, I used to write directions in Sharpie on my gas tank.

Nice. A rat bike that's worth riding some miles!! It's amazing how one can't rid oneself of the GS virus once infected....

True... I didn't want another shaft and swore I'd only land a 750 16V if one came available for cheap... Well it did. Haha
I'll be bringing it to GSR this year for sure.
