    If you know Eric Bang

Know that he is fighting for his life with stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer, and is in great pain. Whether you like him or not, he could use all the support that he can get.

I didn't know this. We kept in touch for a couple of years after he left. Is he home or in the hospital ? I have his email address.......

He called me two weeks ago and said they thought it was stage 4 pancreatic cancer. That was two days before he was to have a PET test. I haven't heard back from him about the results yet. I didn't want to say anything here, because there are too many people that will take the opportunity to say something disparaging about him.

I talked to him on Monday and you are correct. He is home and answered his cell.

Eric was among the first people to offer me advice when I joined the forum, and yes he has a very bad name with some others here.
Bottom line.... cancer sucks and I hope the cure comes sooner rather than later. I wish Eric the best.

That's sad to hear. Eric's good at rubbing people up the wrong way but I believe is a decent guy at heart. I'll send him a note to wish him well. After all the stuff with his daughter's accident I figured he'd had his share for a while!

No matter the opinions of those who dealt with him, cancer is not something to say anything disparaging about. I sure hope he can pull through this

That’s a real shame. I’m pretty sure Eric helped many different people over the years. I wish him and his family all the best.
