    81 GS450, Dayton Ohio

Hey guys, I’m Kyle and I’m from Dayton. I picked up an 81 GS450T a couple months ago.
The previous owner put on some drag bars, but that’s about it. I put all new turn signals on, as well as a new chain and some other odds & ends. This is my 2nd GS450; my first bike was a GS450S that was in rough shape. The new one is much more mechanically sound & was taken much better care of over the years.

You didn't realize it when you joined, but you are in one of the "hotbed" areas of GS ownership.

Send me a PM with a phone number, we can make arrangements for you to stop by some time in the next few days.

I am just south of you, down near the Dayton Mall.

Funny thing, Steve is getting three GS's ready for a trip around the USA and he's still interested in other folks motorcycles. What a great guy👍

Don't exagerate, Norm, it's only the western 2/3.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Steve, I’ll have to make it down your way once I get my no-spark figured out. I’m just south of 70 by Miller Lane.

Come down on four wheels, if you have to.

Welcome aboard. I'm one of the hotbed honnies too. ;-) Although, I don't currently own a GS.

Welcome to the board! I'm riding a 82 GS450t and having a ball with it this summer, just turned over 5000 miles on it so far this season. Unfortunately I'm waiting on a regulator at the moment, one of those "known issue" parts I should have replaced before heading out on the road for the summer. You'll find this board to be a definite asset to getting your bike up and running and keeping it that way.
                      1980 Yamaha XS1100G (Current bike)
                      1982 GS450txz (former bike)
LONG list of previous bikes not listed here.

I identify as a man but according to the label on a box of Stauffers Baked Lasagne I'm actually a family of four
