    New guy!

    Hey everyone, new guy here! I'm pretty new to motorcycles as well with my first being a 82 KZ550. I bought it with a blown motor and in a generally poor shape. Fixed all the little stuff and put in a 650 because it's what I could find.

    Anyways, that was a year or so back in college and now I have a bit more money and want something a bit nicer. So i bought a 82 GS550M... makes sense right?

      That's the one. I got mine cheap at $300 and it shows. There's a picture in the project thread.

      I think it looks better than the classic jap bikes, but not contorted with plastic like the modern GSXRs

        Welcome! $300 for a complete bike isn't shabby, you'll probably find this to be one of the better boards out there to get questions answered.
