    Stumbled upon a '77 GS750...

    ... and I here LOL.

Christians the name. I am the Service Parts Coordinator for 2G USA. Anybody interested in a $10,000 camshaft? I have 2.
We don't measure our turbo's in millimeters. We measure 'em with yardsticks.

I just purchased a non starting 1977 GS750 (pics will be up soon) to go along with my aging "98 Sportster 1200C. I like to tinker.

I'm a wealth of knowledge within the small engine industry. Master certified, EETC, Scag, Echo, Stihl and whoever.

I spent many a years fixing cars, motorcycles and heavy equipment.

I'm not always the brightest but if I've had experience fixing your issue, I'll share. Unless im asleep :-)
    Current:
    1993 ZX11 - 2nd build in progress
    1977 GS750 (710 is getting closer)
    1998 Kawasaki Voyager - selling
    1998 Chevy C2500
    1999 Rav4

Bookmark this place, choose the early 8 valve 750 service manual, and use the carb rebuild tutorial (VM CARBS) on the right margin.

Carb kits are not needed but youll need the oring kit here. Also measure the ID of the groove in the intake manifold flanges and get the proper replace ments from the site as well.

I rebuild carbs if thats something youre not up to. PM me for details.
    MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
    1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

      Chuck,

Thanks for the info and I will put it to good use.

As for carbs and rebuilding them. I've rebuilt a few of them in my days.

      Thanks again !!!
