Hello, again?
Me: Photographer, video maker, Chicago (Evanston) area, I've been here before but due to a multitude of reasons dropped off.
Bike: RED 1983 GS1100E, 36,000 miles.
Reason for return:
I want to find a good caring long term home for the GS.
In the last couple of years have had a couple of not so great medical issues that are slowly preventing me from riding and more importantly being able to work on the bike.

Biggest issue I have right now is after running for a few minutes grey smoke appears, smells more like fuel than burning oil -there is no change in oil level even after a good run.
