That's a really nice looking Yam you have there. You should keep it. One day these classics will be really hard to find in good condition. I am "sorta" looking for a 450(ish) to add to the stable. The wife likes to ride once in a while, but the 650L is just a bit too heavy for her to enjoy.
And no... There is no such thing as too many bikes as long as they FIT in the garage. And even then, you don't have too many, you just don't have enough space...'83 GS 1100T

I disagree, "I have too many", I know I do. Too many batt., too much ins., too many license plates, too little space, but I like all of them & don't want to get rid of any of them. Yes, it is a sickness! I'm about to put 3 or 4 of mine on the market. I want to get back to spending more time riding and less time wrenching! Restorations are fun, but from now on, in the wintertime only!Ron
When I die, just cremate me and put me in my GS tank. That way I can go through these carbs, one more time!https://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/core/images/smilies/cool.png

Sorry, I just forgot to put in there, "Just my opinion" from the info I had. Your GS750 has got to be great, BOTM, I'm partial to GS1000's, I've had 5 of them over the yrs., & the GS550 has got to be a great project & it does have enough,,,(4),,, cyl., unlike the other 3. Naw man, just poking at ya. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for you to weed mine down either..1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. Hey Sarah, I'm not no where near you, Norene TN., bout 40 mi. E. of Nashville. I just looked up where my bike came from, Berne, Indiana, got it back in Dec. 2015. All day & half the night to get there & back. There's a back rest & luggage rack out there, that bolts right on at the rear of the seat where the little oem handle is now. no brackets or anything just remove the handle & bolt on the rack. I tried to find a brand or label on mine, but nothing there. The way it fits, it kind'f looks like it could have been an option from Suzuki, but probably not. Several of the GSX1100G's I've seen for sale has this rack on them. Also mine, as well as my riding buddy's has a Spit Fire windshield. Nothing like a full fairing, but does knock off the wind.
