    1978 GS750E Introduction

    Hi,

    I'm a 1978 GS750E with a new owner that needs fixing

Just kidding I'm 64 and just picked up this 750 for 800 clams and it doesn't run. It's burgundy with "no spark" issues that was purely an emotional buy.

I'm enjoying the hell out of fixing this bad boy up, testing and replacing necessary components, cleaning and filing crud off contacts positive and negative alike.

I've never worked on bikes before but have on most of the cars I've owned, so this is fun sorting through the youtube videos and forensically getting to know the previous owner/original owner through the work he has done on the bike, as he has passed.

The bike has 11,330 miles and I sure hope I can get it running!

I'm reading through the threads here in the "search" feature and thought I'd should post a thank you and introduction in the process.

Thank you folks for being here and for the valuable knowledge you generously share with the membership. End of ass kissing.

    Thank you!!
    Shred
