    New poster

Hi, my name is Alan and I'm from South Yorkshire in the UK.
My bikes are predominately 2 stroke triples (Suzukis) both air & water cooled and usually restored by me.
I've been a biker since 1967 (yup, really!) with a gap in the middle when life and work got in the way, then started again with a Honda 6 - as you do after a 25 year hiatus! - and several GT550s (still have 2 plus a GT750 that we tour on, and other Suzy 2 strokes.)
I recently bought a restored GS750 in Maui blue and managed a shake down run without issue - just need some better weather now. Sold a GSX1400 a couple of years ago, so I'm used to 4 stroke multis - we'll have to see how good this particular GS is but so far, signs are good.

        Welcome to the site, Alan.
        Nice looking bikes.
Just curious as to the brand of chambers on the GT550?

Made by Mick Abbey of Abbeyspeed and he reckons they should get 20hp per cylinder.
I realise that's not a lot compared to modern bikes, but it is for a 70s GT model!

Here's a better pic taken partway down the Sulby straight at the IOM Classic TT 4 years ago with a couple of 'friends'.
