    Anniversary

Today is the 40th year I've had this motorcycle in my life. So many great memories, friends and times. Still fun after all these years and cheaper than therapy .

I had one of them, a blue one, great bike but wasn't fast enough (back then), I had to have a 4V GS1100. Now all I have is the memories, but you've still got it all. A very big congrats. How's it looking after 40 yrs.? Got any pictures?

Awesome. Beautiful bike as well. I'm working on 22 years with mine and feel the same way. It hasn't always been a great ownership experience as it was heavily abused and crashed before I bought it. I didn't help the cause with a lowside in the early 2000s, but all these years later I'm still smitten.

Dang, Just hope you've aged as well as the bike! Probably wishful thinking. That thing even has (looks like) oem mirrors with the orig. vibration dampeners & the tall Suzuki handlebars that were very often changed for shorter ones. Again big congrats.

Thank you, all it took was a lot of maintenance over the years. It doesn't hurt that it's cheaper than therapy !?! Still fun after all these years.

Congrats! That’s quite a long time to have a relationship with a motorcycle! Such dedication.
