    My lil' red 450

Hey everyone, realized I'd never introduced myself! I'm a young electrical engineer who really enjoys older mechanical machines, the GS 450 I picked up for $180 out here in Orange County CA has been a wonderful hobby and a beloved curse. I can thank all of you for helping me build my understanding of this wonderful machine over the past few years.

I know I've sank at least two thousand into getting this bike running well, and have had a blast since I got my license 2 years ago.

She started as a "meh" looking L, so besides doing a lot of work on the engine's internals (thanks to an oil drain plug that wriggled out on the highway), the electrical harness has been redone from scratch, all LED lighting, some custom electronics which keep the turn signals on but dim for added visibility, painted engine, wheels, custom seat, etc.

Working on the 1000 next, stay tuned & see you around

Welcome, & get to work. Wondering if the GS1000 will also be a custom or more OEM? I have a soft spot for the 1000G's.
