Very nice looking job. For me a much nicer color than we had over here in "78" I like brighter happier colors way more than our drab dark maroon, drab dark blue, "C" model colors, or the very drab black "EC" models. That's my opinion and aught to be yours

Opinions are like armpits. Everybody's got one (and they stink).

Of course I agree about the colors. I hate the dark red '82 11E, but love the brighter, more orange-ish '83.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Aw shucks Rob, you haven't counted your armpits lately, have you? May want to count "them" one more time, just to be sure..

Pretty insensitive rphillips. I heard Rob S. lost an armpit in his accident with the HD.

              A Note From The Owner...

I restored her in 2010, I had the same model new in 1978.
I had to design and get the tank stripes cut as nobody made them for the euro model (EC), only the usa E model .
Paint was difficult to get but sourced a suzuki 2 stage paint used on their cars ,100% match

I remember when i joined, for the longest time i wondered what bikes were discussed.
Maybe posting this info when starting a new BOTM topic will catch on ?
Makes for a better read imho.
