Congratulations Andrew! Personally, and I know others will disagree, I think the full Vetter Windjammer looks better than the GK. That you restored it makes the ride all the nicer.
WiilieCommon sense has become so uncommon that I consider it a super power.
Present Stable includes:
'74 GT750 Resto-mod I've owned since '79
'83 GS1100E (The best E I've ever enjoyed, Joe Nardy's former bike)

Great job Andrew,
Finally someone from the Kansas City Area (that I know) gets a photo of the month.
Andrew's bike was my first expirience with an 1100G and partially the reason I have one now. The sound from that motor is very nice. Great low growl. I've also had the privilage of watching that bike wheelie up my street even with the big Vetter hanging off the front. Lots of power. Lots of fun to ride.
Again, Good Job.

Very, very nice Andrew.
Congratulations on the BOTM.
Now hit the garage, sit back with your baby and enjoy a cold one. You've earned it.

Andy,
Congratulations! That is a clean, super sharp looking G. Very nice work. I'm starting to look for a G/GK as my next ride for all the reasons you mention.Scott

love that vetter fairing. Wish I kept mine from the cb750, would be useful for long trips. congrats!

Great job with the project and the details involved with subtle mods for the Vetter and indicators. I really like the clean lines on the 4-1 headers and the neat and tidy muffler can that looks like giving easy access to the axle and wheel removal without messing with the exhaust system. Thanks for your effort in saving this beauty and the photo, well deserved BOTM, cheers.Badgezz, we don need noh stinkin' badgezz!
