      Bom

Thanks fellas, since arriving in Toronto I had to replace head gasket. As the engine was open, we went ahead and replaced the rings (still on stock bore), de-glazed the cylinders, installed new valve guide seals and sundry other bits. For next season, I have a brand new Marving chrome 4-1 exhaust waiting to be installed.

Very nice motorcycle there, Jim. Of course, i'm a bit partial to S models.

And, when you replace your stock exhausts with the Marving, i'd be happy to take those old ugly 4/2 chromers of yer hands!

Charlie, we are all sooooo glad to be back in N. America, you have no idea.
Frank, when I get my act together (might take a while), I'll put the stock exhausts up for sale here with some good pics so folks can get a good idea of their condition.
Pete, Mark, GateKeeper, thanks for the nice comments, I really enjoy riding the old girl (about 5000km last year), she's no hangar queen.

The Cooley's not my daily rider. I did about 15000 kms on my other bikes, though

Nicely done. I don't usually comment on BOMs as they can be a bit...overdone.
But this pic is very nice, indeed.

Thx Koolaid, the pic was taked in front of an old stone barn that was on one of my favorite routes from Luxembourg to Larochette. I miss two things from Europe, the food and the roads!
