Looks great! Love a clean 850. Any tips for cleaning/polishing the engine?

      Thanks !

Polishing is not hard to do, but it takes time. Firstly I use paintstripper to get all the old paint or clearcoats off

If the aluminium is heavily damaged, I use sandpaper, starting at 400, going up to 1000 or 1500 grit. Then cloth polishing disks with the proper polishing past and you'll get a nice shine.

Then just polish lightly every year....

Congratulations on BOM - she looks fantastic! Great story too. I was checking out your neighborhood this morning - what a great location! Lots of coastline, plenty of farms and forests, next to Germany and Belgium, not too far from London or France too. Bet the roads give you some awesome opportunities for rides. And I'm sure your 850 can take you to all of them with ease. Enjoy!

                  Good looking bike!
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!
