    GACK!!!

Last night my wife and I stopped at a gas station to fill-up the bikes on our way out to dinner. At the station, I stopped, then I started to go again to get to a pump. WELL, SOMEHOW, I managed to stall the bike, tipped the thing over on the left side! 8O That's not the worst part. My bike contacted my wife's bike, and put a small dimple on the air filter cover of her Virago! Luckily, both her feet were planted on the ground, so the domino effect didn't take place.

Damage to my bike was a nuked left rear signal, some small scratches on the clutch lever and, yes, the case saver. Am I ever thankful I put those on!

I found out just how easy it is to pick up an 1100 when the adrenalin is pumping! I got the thing up without even thinking about it. Man, talk about embarassing! What a rookie thing to do! I can't remember the last time that ever happened to me. In fact, I don't know if it's EVER happened to me! :? DAMN!!

Quite the contary, let the "Harly Guys" see it. And episoide like that would probley be hundreds of $$$ where here, (dare I say it, no.. ), its what, $50-60.00. And turn signals, I've replaced my rear ones with units from a Honda XL 250. Nice black color, VERY inexpensive and they're out of the way of soft saddle bags or anything else I through across the seat.

Give me your Email and I'll send you pictures if you want to see them.

Was it caused by the price of the gas?
