Over the years I've met so many riders who are truly sorry they got rid of theirs. And in some cases, the really can't go back.

Well said! The GS is just a great bike and it just gets in your blood.
Over the years I've met so many riders who are truly sorry they got rid of theirs. And in some cases, the really can't go back.And on the seventh day,after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

My 850? My '82 GS850L my dad bought new, then sold to me in early '84 while I was still in high school? The one that introduced me to motorcycling? The one I (and my future and present wife) rode on many trips and vacations following my now deceased father and mother? The beauty that is still running fine and sitting in my garage? The one that I can ride, glance at the scenery reflected in the tank and be transported 20+ years into the past?
It ain't for sale.
