Yikes.
Ok, this thread blows...But, it's meant too, right?
In answer to your question though...I would check with the local junkyards, boneyards, etc. or call Suzuki. They might be able to locate the cover you need.
I just got off the phone with mine, and ordered a few parts to get mine running. I was surprised that they still stocked parts or made them at all. LOL
Good Luck.

why does it seem this always happens at night?
I had this happen to me (again, like the rest of you guys, in the middle of the night.) I was working an overnight shift, doing telecom maintenance, that always has to be done while the rest of the world sleeps (other than law enforcement and some other key pubic servants, who never get to sleep or have holidays).
I come out at 6am, and my Goldwing (a pristine 1982) is lying on its side like a beached whale... someone had knocked it FORWARD from BEHIND and rolled it off the CENTER STAND...! Over it went.
Broken mirror, scuffs on the fairing, crash bars, and fuel running down the tank. Nothing that I don't expect to happen to an older bike, but jeez... up til that moment, that bike looked brand new.
Never knew who did it. I just hope they get theirs someday....

My office has two bike parking areas, and both are in VERY plain sight of the security tower. I have yet to see anything to a bike. You can't be to careful though. After mine is running, it will still be parked in the garage. LOL

Sorry to hear about the damage. Wankers.
Re. the petrol tank/mileage.
The tank holds 16 litres, but 4 of those are reserve, so you've got a bit more than a 100 mile range.
I also have a 650gt - no fairing.
I hit reserve after about 125 miles, so figure i've got just over 40 miles to go on reserve.
mpg is about 50 - but this is per UK gallon, believe U.S gallons are a bit smaller.
So you've got a range of at least 130 miles. Surely must be something worth getting off the bike for in 130 miles?

I'm sure the MPG is affected by the weight of the rider, not trying to be snide just a thought. That really does suck tho, I've been in parking lots 2 times(I work in construction and take breaks in the car); where I've seen people parking just run into the car infront of or next to where they are parking. I definately recommend parking far from any waterhead who decides they can fit their junker into a spot that they shouldn't.
