    Curse you again Joe Nardy...

You are one lucky guy. Did you leave any motorcycles in your state for the "common folk?"

Thanks..............now that I think about it maybe I did take all the bikes in Illinois. The last three I bought have been from out of state. I went to Mississippi for the FJR:

      .........to Ohio for the KTM:

......and to Indiana for the GSXR:

Yes, I am a lucky guy. My wife is pretty understanding about my motorcycle habit and loves to ride (passenger) so it works out well for both of us.

Yes, Adam is right. My bike has been repainted. It was painted with a stock DuPont Imron color which is very close to the original color but has a lot more sparkle to it. Sorry, Adam, but when I got a chance to see our bikes side by side last year I have to say I liked the Imron color even more. The stock color looks a little dull next to it. No offense, just my opinion. Your bike is safer though!\\/

It's a 2002 919. It's my quick tour bike. It rides and handles better with a load than without. Not adjustable suspension except rear preload. Very quick and powerful. Went from 80-110 in the length of a semi.

here is the rack that I built for it.

I can also turn it into a basket of sorts.

1100's are for wussies -- you gotta go 1150 to get the real deal.

                          If I wanted a full fairing, I'd buy a repli-racer...

                          And who make those sidebags...Samsonite?

                            lol.

Actually the bags are kawasaki, and no longer on the bike (the dolt who put them on drilled a whole through the seat rail, but failed to notice that a passenger can't get their legs on the pegs with the bags on).

I tell ya Alex, seems I just gotta explain everything. You're supposed to leave the bags on. Simply open the tops, let the lids hang, and the passenger puts their feet in the bags.

                              E. :-)

Ah the old gull wing approach.

If I could strap the clothes and stuff in, that might actually work.
