Got on the road about 7AM, had a quick breakfast, and cranked right up to the Weirs, and got there around 10AM, only sat in traffic for about 10 min. and got a great parking spot at the top of the hill where I took the pic. We walked around and checked out all the vendors, all the $$$$$checkbook choppers, and FOOD. We left the Weirs around 12:30, and by this time, traffic was backed up as far as you could see in all directions. I got stuck in traffic heading up rt 3 to Meridith for over an hour. But once past Meridith, we had a georgeous ride around the lakes.
I saw a LOT of Harleys along the side of the road overheated from the traffic. I gotta say adding Mobil 1 15W-50 full synthetic oil, and the Power Commander to manage my FI was the best dam thing I could do to a stock EPA lean friendly bike!!! My bike ran so good, even after lenghtly idleing in traffic for on the long uphill stretches.
