I have found that to be the case too - most riders I've talked to said it didn't matter what bike you were on, as long as you were riding. That's totally true - there was a big motorcycle show on my street last weekend, and people were parking Goldwings next to Harleys next to CBRs. Most of them could care less. My favorite part was when my wife said "I like the ones that look like they've been ridden." That's my girl.

Back to the suit, man you shoulda summoned the other Rangers and taught those punks a lesson.

I have a one piece Grey/black/silver suit I bought for racing. As soon as my one idiot friend saw it thats all I heard about for probably a month. " what cha gonna do beat me up? not without your power ranger suit hahahaaha"

If you don't want to be messed with always ride in shorts, flipflops, a wife beater and an expensive helmet so that everyone will know how cool you are

You should see my little 82 300L sitting out in the middle of all of the Harley's when I go to our local Harley Dealership. It looks like the proverbial David versus Goliath. But never one time have I heard anyone snicker or roll theor eyes when I roll up.

After reading the original post a question came to mind, does head butting someone with my helmet count as the single impact that afterwards requires you to replace it or at the least have it checked? :-D

As far as social degenerates making fun of me, it hasn't yet happened. Either I haven't run across any degenerates brave enough to mess with me or my "don't f--- with me" demeanor has kept them at bay.

My don't eff with me attitude has helped me out a lot over the years, so when someone does, it really screws with my head. A couple weeks ago, I was driving my car and pulling into Tractor Supply. Some young punk was pulling out stupidly, and I didn't know if he was going to pull out in front of me or what, and he was right where I planned on turning in, so I slowed down and then stopped and waved him on. THE PUNK FLIPPED ME OFF, came alongside me and started yelling stuff at ME, then STARTED FOLLOWING ME when I said "eff off, punk"

Yeah, some dumb punk thought he was cool and was going to harass A GIRL. Well guess what? My adrenaline shot up so high I was ready to fight him, and I probably really would have kicked his a$$. I pulled into a parking spot (next to the only MC in the lot knowing the bikers around here wouldn't stand for some punk messing with a chick or anywhere near their bike) and waited... he sat in his car for a while, I guess trying to decide if he was going to come back and prove how tough is is to me before he left. When I finally went into the store, I was more worried about what he would do to my car than I was worried about what he would do to me.

Stupid punks who have no self esteem and think they can make men out of themselves by trying to intimidate others are freaking worthless.

              This happened to me today!!

I pulled up to a traffic light in my 92 Toyota Camry V6 XLE (good car) and a GIGANTIC Ford 350 (I think) diesel truck pulled up alongside of me. They had GIGANTIC tires on it and it was a 4 door truck and they had a 4 wheeler in the bed. Well, the driver was revving his engine while the light was red. The green light comes on and boom he takes off full throttle and lots of black smoke comes pouring out the tailpipes - right at me. I gagged. I floored my car to get in front of the truck and the little punk b__ch tries to run me off the road (with tons of black smoke still poring out) when I am passing him. He also tried to floor his truck to get in front of me (the lanes merged and became one) but I was in a lighter car with a V6 Toyota engine and completely kicked his a$$.

So ... he made a mistake by trying to intimidate me, he follows me to a gas station (I know the owner and he has 17 hidden cameras on his property) and corners me (by pulling in front of my car). He rolled down his window and started shouting at me - He had a passenger with him. I rolled down my car window and caught what he was saying ...."Don't you ever effing do that stunt again to me ever!" I looked at him innocently and said "Do what?" Which of course absolutely ****ed off this young punk (mid 20's skinny inbred hick). I laughed at him and his passenger then took on my eagle stare and slowly told him to back his effing truck up, or I was going to yank him and his passenger out of his effing truck and fart in both of their faces. He was like "wtf?" I then told him his truck needed a serious effing enema because I gagged on its fumes - he got defensive and said "Its a diesel - thats nornal" all the while he was not moving his truck (I hate bullies that back down).

I began to explain that if he didn't move his truck, I was going to ram into those expensive tires he had on his truck and break them clear off the rims. He started with "hey man ... no I'm not mad at you ..." I revved my engine and he not only backed up he hightailed it out of there :-D

And yes, I was looking for a blunt object because I really was going to yank them out and fart in their faces.

They obviously didn't expect me to get in their faces with the Brooklyn 'tude I was taught from my grandmother.

Road rage? Nah. The last two posts just sound like folks standing up to bullies. If more folks followed suit we might have a society in which people behaved better in the first place.

I think you're right - there's a lot of road rage nowadays because a lot of people think and do act however they want without regard to consequences. If you're gonna get angry and lose control, people should hold you accountable for that. Our connection with each other seems to be the fundamental source of manners - and now we're seeing the results of our disconnect, product of technology, has wrought.

You did read the part where he tailgated me and corned me in a gas station parking lot right? At that point anything I did would have been in self defense. And yes, it was caught on camera.

I did not want to be behind his truck - the smoke was making me gag and it stung my eyes. Apparently he wanted to be in front and it ****ed him off that my Jap car got in front of his American made gas guzzling Ford building on wheels.

Shoot, I would have been happy to be called a power ranger. That means all my gear is matching, instead of the hodgepodge I have now

I catch alot of crap from people callin my bike girly, because its maroon and has pink pinstripes. But come to think of it, every one who has said that dont have a bike. Besides the colors contrast nice and im atleast secure enough to ride a maroon and pink bike and drive a purple truck.
