    super kart

I picked up a wrecked 1982 gs 650 from the impound center and built this bad boy.

The only problem with the bike was that it was lying on its side for 2 years and after i ran all of the oil out of the cylinders half the cylinders stoped sparking. I believe the electronic ignition box has blown but my question is do you think one side of it could of gone bad?

dont worry Im 15 years old I think I can handle it. This is pure drag raceing material. so it only goes down a 1/8 mile stip of asphalt. Just hope I don't erase my face, turn into the gaurd rail's first course of the day.

This project is a little left field, and you should know you're burning a lot of purist's eyeballs, but screw 'em. Also keep in mind many of them are older and now fear death. You'll probably get more than a few condescending words from others, but I'll try to offer a little help. I think it looks like fun, and if I lived near you I would help out and take it for a few blasts around the track.

Between the 2 and 3 exhaust not being plumbed and no intake restriction, the stock carbs will not operate at all without rejetting.

All the cylinders pipes should have at least some exhaust pipe, and should all be about the same.

Your best bet would be to jam the stock intake (manifold and filter box) on it to get it running, and only then consider some sort of modified intake, such as wide open or individual pods. Both of these will require rejetting.

You should replace or at least clean (I prefer sandblasting) the spark plugs as they're probably fouled up. Use a known good plug and test each wire to make sure they're all sparking.

                    How about something like this?
A brief video of the crashes and incidents from the NZ Sidechair champs and supporting solo races from Gisborne of the 12th Jan 2008

130+ hp, around 200kgs, no brakes,a tank full of methanol and a concrete wall if you make a mistake.
                    Cheers

That's a pretty flash cart you got yourself there.
Just keep the rubber side down and you'll be fine.

                          in fact, I want one!

hey the gsxr karts are cool but its the smart car Hayabusa edition that you really want, check it out here.

It is absolutely insane, i would say more so than the idea of the go cart
