You can encounter the one eyed snake anywhere. Beware!!!

Few years ago I was riding in Malibu, CA when I saw hundreds of brownish yellow leaves falling onto the road. Turns out, not leaves: butterflies! I was a sticky yellow mess. Probably got two dozen of the poor little guys.

Must be the season because the other day I put my helmet on and after a couple of miles riding felt something stinging me in the forehead right where the cushion edge is. I flipped up the visor hoping the wind blast would blow what ever it was away and for a moment it worked. I flipped the visor back down and in another minute, something stung me again. Okay, this time I pulled over and took off the helmet and found a spider in there. I shook him out and rode off again gradually feeling my forehead getting hotter and hotter. When I got home my wife says "jeez, what happened to your forehead". I looked in the mirror and it looked as if I was going to sprout a horn!. It has since gone down quite a bit but is itchy. I hope it didn't lay some eggs in my scalp that will hatch and begin feeding on my brain, that wouldn't be cool. oh wait spidah's don't do that...
