Sorry to hear the old guy tipped his ride. He is obviously of the old school (no pun intended). The kind of guy that has been riding for eons and has had his share of riding issues and has been helped out himself so he knows the feeling. A Gentleman of the road.
Typical of the cagers to drive on by.Had it happened to me too. Uncaring pricks do they think a 500+ pound bike is going to levitate itself upright again? Likely they think the rider deserved it.
Like most of us, I stop for anyone in apparent trouble, pedestrian, bicycle rider, biker, cager whomever. I don't consider myself religious but the parable of the good Samaritan has always stuck with me and its a rule I try to live by.
As others have said, it doesn't matter what you ride so if Harleys your choice, enjoy.
