Runs like a charm. I picked up my license yesterday and took it for a spin. After lowsiding on some gravel on the road, I picked it back up and got right back to riding. So far, I love it
. The power is there, but nothing too excessive. My speedo's broken, but I've been doing 4k in 5th gear (sound about right for stock rims and tire size?), which seems to be fast enough.
Now I know why this site exists. For a bike as old as mine that still runs so well, Suzuki really did something right. It's become so much more to me than another loud UJM bike. It's a loud, 748cc displacement big hearted beast of a UJM.
And this bike has even helped me bond with my step-dad, who rode a GS650 in his college days. He'll be renewing his motorcycle license for the first time in 15 years this summer.
