    sitting and doing nothing

This is not a story, but more of a whining. Just had athroscopy to repair my right shoulder yesterday and am sitting here typing with my left hand and one finger. We finally get some nice sunny days and my right arm is useless and my 2 GSes are collecting dust in the garage. My son isn't even around to keep them on the road as he is away for the military.
Hopefully I'll be back in the saddle some time next week, but my baseball pitching career is over. Actually it was over some 30 years ago when I realized there was more talent out there than I had.
Excuse me while I go outside and take turns sitting on my bikes in the dark with one hand..... whine, whine, whine.....hey there are a lot of people worse off than me

Get Well Soon. I'm heading to 8 Track's place in Memphis Friday to start getting the 1100 back on the road. It's been almost 3 months since My highside at Brown County and I'm Jonsing to ride bad.

2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

      Back in the saddle today!
I couldn't wait a whole week after shoulder surgery, so I rode to work this morning.
A little stiff and painful (forgot to take the Ibuprofen this morning before leaving) and had to stop once for a stretch during the 35 mile commute.
But it was all good otherwise. Following cars sludging along at 45 mph, I opened it up and busted by 3 cars at a time ...not in anger, but bliss in the explosive use of the bike's HP.
Maybe this is why I "must" relinquish my ES soon before I lose my license.....
