    First trouble free ride today

It happened this afternoon for the first time. I started my bike rode it to the gas station and then on a 25 mile scoot. And I didn't have to pull to the side of the road once because she had died and needed to be restarted. It was my first incident free ride, I think I'm there. Of course this is after this morning when I met 2 fellow Gsr members for a ride only to have her die a total of 3 times, once on the way there and twice after we left the meeting place.
Of course it was my fault a little poor planning on some electrical work, to much current in the line for the fuse I was using. Well I went home and sorted it all out and retighten and cleaned the battery connections as I felt something wasn't right. So something had to of been loose because after going threw things now I have 12 volts at the coils before I had 9 lights were dim and such.
Well I started her up and I could tell right off the bat things were better. I headed out and was amazed at how much power this motor has, its an 1100, did the valves, carbs,o-rings ,boots ,seal the airbox new dyna 2000 and 2.2 coils plus coil mod. While I had it apart I cleaned the intake ports real good. She just purrs and has way more power then I think Ill ever use but its nice to know its there.
I still have some things to do but nothing to keep me from ridding. So I think I now have a reliable machine that is just going to get better.
And to make things better my wife wants me to get in a lot of ridding time so I am real comfortable with the bike,( its been about 10 years since I owned my last bike I had one when the wife and I dated) so she can go ridding with me...
    Life is good.

Its a 1100gk and it is a very sweet ride. I put 100 miles on her today going down to "Rice-0-Rama" and back. I only got her up to 80 in 5th was close to 4k and was just purring with plenty left, that was fast enough for me.
