    Ha ha! Imagine a pi$$ed off bear coming to check out what he heck hit him with such force! Just hope that he doesn't wonder what you taste like.

    On the other hand, Moose and Deer are pretty tasty too. And Buffalo is actually better than beef! I know, hard to imagine something better than good old steak.

      Amen! My only real concern on the road, for which there is no real solution, is deer (and any other moderately or larger sized animal) jumping in front of or into me without any notice. It's happened to me in a car twice, both times with ZERO time to react, let alone plan for.

      Glad this incident had such a favorable out come for both rider and bike.
