Hey wait a minute....this is all wrong...it's 6 degrees F here on the top side of the globe and you're frolicking around in the warmth of summer down under on your bikes...I froze my fingertips just going out in the driveway to start my car this morning!

        Mike,

Thanks for the report and the great pics! Snow and ice around here. Hope you don't mind if I live vicariously thru you guys for a few months.

Sorry folks, I didn't mean to trigger envy and resentment!

What you blokes need to do is twist the boss's arm, take some time off over the New Year, wing it across the Pacific, and land in sunny Oz. Actually we've had a very cool start to summer; normally by now the land is baked brown, but this year it's been wet and cool... perfect biking weather, @ 25degC most days. Oops, there I go again, inciting envy

Glad you all liked the pics; it was a great weekend.

          Cheers,
          Mike.

Viewing your pictures was a good relief from shoveling snow. Thanks for posting.

Liked your action sequence of the canoe getting swamped. ANd the photographic excelence of the camp fire pryomeniac.

Hum, it seems that a lot stories of group rides that I see here on GSR contain the words "and my bike was the oldest on there".
