              I still want to know what snapped the second cam. I know what did in the original broken cam, as we found the offending, now totally mashed, cam bearing cap locator dowl pin (pay attention to those when working on your heads fellas!) Fortunately, WE didnt do that, but the second cam I still dont understand. It had to have snapped immediately upon us starting the bike because it wasnt firing on number 4 right from jump street. We may never know, but, alls well that ends well...

                I feel your pain on the head removal. Bill was here all weekend with the outcome a failed MLS Wisco gasket in the 1168 kit. Been going through that pain retorquing and finally pulling the head again. Will see if all is OK in the morning on the ED. Just got it running 17 min ago, but too late to break in the cams. (1:17 pm).

                What is the deal with the dowels?
