It's nice to finally get your bike running right

After many little hiccups I think I have my bike pretty close to running well, and that feels good. Many thanks to all that helped.

It starts, idles, accelerates and stops without any drama. It smokes if you choke it (joke in there somewhere) but it doesnt really need choke that often, and idles fine if you just ride it 500ft or so.

    I'm happy!

If it starts and runs as well as you say, don't worry about the choke. My XS650 only needs just a touch of choke on even the coldest mornings (near or below freezing) and it still fires in a half a kick. Just watch the plugs for a bit to make sure they're not any funky colours that they shouldn't be, and you should be good to go.
