Or do you want the technical answer "Don't do that $hit on HD"?
    Sure!

One is the fact he started the turn on the inside of the lane.

Well, aside from the uber-obvious "He drove out of his drive way.", I'd say that him looking intently at the camera across the road while pointing is PROBABLY a horrible start to getting through the curve. What's the old addage..., "Look where you wanna go."...? He went there.

In the second pic it looks like his front tire is no longer spinning. I would say that's not a good thing.

Hmmmm, never try to lean a bike that can only go straight? LOL

We think a lot a like on the matter. However, I was also considering, from the bikes perspective, never give the keys to a rider that can't.

You've never seen me on one of my Harleys apparently.

With those training wheels uhh I mean case savers I'd say the guy has maybe a twenty percent lean factor.

I had the wave out for the first half of their group when I realized I wouldn't get one back. I wanted to turn it into the one finger wave but figured I was better than that and just gave more of a pushing away motion as I let the wave drop. My guess is it was a bunch of posers out for their holiday weekend ride. Maybe nobody wanted to be the only one to wave to a rice burner. **** on 'em, it was a nice ride anyway. My uncles have always had Harleys and are just happy that I ride. One told me all about the GS550 he used to ride, I could see he was riding it again in his mind as he looked at my bike. One uncle gave me some friendly picking but I told him it leaks oil where ever its parked too so its kind of like a Harley. These are the Harley guys I know, just care about the ride, not the brand. It's still okay to make jokes though.
When I am on my XR1200, I don't get waves much from the Harley guys. Metric guys always wave. Most Harley guys don't even recognize that I am on a Harley. That's not what I bought it for anyway.

I think the best wave for the Harley crowd is a wave "bye bye" as they recede in your rear mirrors! I don't have anything against Harleys, other than a ridiculously antiquated engine design that some people have a rabid attachment to. I understand that a lot of HD riders don't approve of the VRod. I like some of the Buells, but they handle and stop! BTW, Buck, can you post a pic of your XR 1200?

I do like it. It is very much like a throwback. It has the soul of an old bike. It is pretty quick when you want. The only Harley that I ever had.
