Looks like it will work.

A commuter bike, that makes sense. It looks like a good bike for that around here, but not for big cities like Chi-town.
I have a plan for replacing the rings in my GS550, the compression is at 100 psi. That's supposed to be the brink. I just hope there's no scuffing. The weather's warm enough for me to get a start on that too. Oh boy…

Has Spring Really Sprung?

Glad to see some fellow Michiganders breaking their bikes out of cold storage.

I pulled my '82 GS750E out of the back of the garage a couple of days ago, drained out the stabilized gas from last November, and replaced it with fresh stuff. I brought the battery out of the house and installed it, and the bike fired up the second I hit the button. I took it out for a ride today after checking the tire pressure and dusting it off, and it ran like a top.

I've bought three new bikes (new to me anyway) in the last 90 days though, so unfortunately it's time to let the Suzuki go. There's so many bikes in my garage that I literally have to wiggle sideways to get in there. I just posted it in the "Road-ready Bikes" For Sale area, if anyone's interested.
