    Burned some stabilized fuel today

I put the bike and most of my gear away 10 weeks ago the weekend before my surgery but kept my leather jacket out just in case. Just in case arrived today in the form of 60 degrees without rain. I got geared up and hit the starter and she roared to life .(I REALLY like fuel injection) I took a brief but spirited ride around the neighborhood (I don't live in town so my neighborhood is 15 miles or so) The SV ran like a champ, don't know which one enjoyed the ride more, me or the bike!

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Go burn a little more in my name, if you would.

It's plenty warm here (near 50), but all the snow is melting off, making all the roads very wet.

We had rain last night, enough to wash away any salt left from last week.

Hey great news my friend. Glad to hear that you have the energy to hop on. I hope you are wearing a kidney belt or some padding over your wound

They're calling for some warm weather on New Years day around here and as I'm not hitting the hooch much anymore and planning a quite New Years eve I'm thinking of firing up the GS for a quick jaunt to welcome in 2011.

        Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sounds to me like your on your way for a long and full season. Keep safe and enjoy.

        Cheers,
        spyug

Congrats on the spin around the block!

I did a little jaunt on the 850 yesterday. Funny, I cant remember that last time I rode with snow on the ground.
            Quite invigorating!

One of the characters in the photo above is a cardboard cutout, but I'm not sure which.
