first near death of the year
well it happened, i pooped myself almost. was in the right lane of a 4 laner and traffic was stopped and lined up in the left. i had my eye on the traffic and some young, presumably new driver pulled right out in front of me. i had to lock both front and rear tires to stop in timr then sped past the driver shaking my head. here is the best part, this driver followed me to my destination about a block up the road and apologized for almost killing me. guess what she said, "i didnt see you" so i gave her a verbal lesson on looking before leaping and left it at that. im gonna go change my shorts nowTags: None

Atleast she was responsible enough to admit her fault and nice enough to follow you for as long as she did just to appologize. It probably shook her up as well. I had a driver nearly squeeze me out turning into my lane on the freeway and after giving them the finger when they smiled and shrugged, they decided to pull ahead of me and turn their windsheild wipers w/ fluid on
I hope you didn't blow up on her too bad.

Early in the season is a rough time of the year to ride. Take extra care. People have had all winter to not look for us even more than usual. Glad you're ok.

Had my first real ride yesterday myself. Someone almost left-turned in front of me on an otherwise empty road, but fortunately for me stopped just a few feet after they started. Still made me chirp my brakes and really got my attention though! Took some fun out of the rest of the ride too.
Glad you made it out OK.
