      I just kick the door.
I have done it twice, and the first time it was scary as hell, because I had nowhere to go. This guy was pushing me into the railing, so I kicked. Hard. He woke up and swerved away causing much honking and zero dead bikers. The other time I had more backup space on my side, but wanted to kick the bastard anyway. This guy got really angry, and kept causing danger.

So I guess there's some truth in the saying that we're invisible, except to the guys who are aiming at us...

I would never let go of the handle bar to hit anyone, especially since most of them come from your gas side...

(no, I am not actually paranoied, I play it like a game of chess. So far, I have been riding for 33 years and only been pushed off the road once, back in '79!)

Oh ya, and for those moments where I feel the need to "remind" a driver that I am there, I carry a small can of PB blaster in my pocket. Nasty stuff when sprayed on glass. Mixes nicely with window washer fluid to create a window coating slime.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

New Jersey has the highest population density, and therefore probably has the highest traffic density.

Florida is also densely populated, and has a huge number of drivers old enough to have lost their skills.

Every time I drive in Atlanta, I see people scoot across 8 lanes of highway the same your woman drove across three.
